Foodprov began with a simple frustration: it was too hard to find truly fresh, honestly sourced food in the city. So we built the shortcut between local growers and Leipzig kitchens.
Built around real food and real farmers
Foodprov was founded in Leipzig in 2019 by a small team who grew up around markets and family kitchens. We watched fresh produce travel thousands of kilometres before reaching a supermarket shelf — losing flavour, nutrients and connection along the way.
We decided there had to be a better path. Today we partner with more than 120 family farms, dairies and bakeries across Saxony and the surrounding region, picking up their best harvest each morning and getting it to your door the same day.
No middlemen, no long-haul storage, no guesswork about where your food comes from — just a transparent supply chain you can trust.
